Mixed teens on TikTok have started a trending #MixedGirlCheck challenge where they have been proudly showing off their multiracial heritage.
If you haven’t given in to the temptation to download TikTok yet, it is a video sharing social media app that has rocketed in popularity with over 1.5 billion users worldwide.
In the challenge, the song ‘Mixed Girl Check‘ by Ari plays alongside a photo montage of mixed race TikToker’s multiracial families, adorable baby photos, and *fire* selfies.
The challenge has had a mixed reception from Twitter with some either tired of the TikTok trend or excited to give it a go themselves.
